Everyone at our practice is committed to providing you with the very best in pet healthcare.
Our Veterinary Surgeon, Richard and his fantastic team of veterinary and support staff bring a wealth of experience to the practice and are dedicated to offer the highest level of client and patient care.
- Mr Richard W J Hatton
- Veterinary Surgeon
- B.V.Sc., M.R.C.V.S
Richard qualified in June 1980, from Bristol University. He has two daughters, Katie & Abigail. His twin sister, Sheila and her husband Graham are also vets. Richard's pastimes include various sports, but he particularly enjoys squash and he holds a squash coaching qualification. Richard and his daughters own a Pugzu named 'Ollie' which you might meet at the practice who often keeps everyone amused with his tricks for treats.
- Nicola Fitzgibbon
- Acting PM/Veterinary Care Assistant
- L2 Diploma VCA
Niki joined the Harrier Vets family in December 2010 and is now a qualified Veterinary Care Assistant.
She grew up in Hamble and has a teenage son.
Nicola practices yoga in her spare time, and is a fan of Red Dwarf and The Knitted Character (shhh...)
- Gaella Stone
- Nursing Manager
Gaella has been a member of the Harrier Vets family since 2006.
She has a Foundation Degree in Animal Management and has passed the Animal Nursing Assistant exam.
She works full time at the practice and has an 11 year old rescue Border terrier called Meg.
She enjoys trekking, taking photographs and tries to practice yoga as often as she can!
- Sally Thomlinson
Sally started with us in July 2016, she works part time on reception. She has a passion for all animals and would love to work towards becoming a Veterinary Care Assistant.
- Jo Longstaff
- BSc Animal Management & Animal Science
Jo works part time on reception, she has two lovely Jack Russell's called Mia & Ella. Jo has studied at Sparsholt College and has a degree in Animal Management and Animal Science.
- Alice Muirhead
- Advanced National Certificate in Animal Management (City & Guilds)
Alice joined the team in December 2016, she has studied at Sparsholt College and has a City & Guilds certificate in Animal Management. She enjoys spending time with her family and walking their dog 'Bandit'.
- Mr Brian Adams
- Accounts & DIY
Brian comes in occasionally to help sort out any DIY and assists with the accounting. He and his wife Anne have two Burmese cats, softie Alfie and fiery Micca.
